Bear Hunting in Idaho

I do remember some of May - mostly because my dearly beloved was out of town for two weeks. He was bear hunting in Idaho with his Uncle Robert. It was quite the trip.

In case you are not familiar with bear hunting...it involves baiting the bear, hoping they will come to the bait and the same time you are there. By bait, I mean food - alot of bread (purchased stale from the local butternut bakery), honey burns (yes, cooking and burning honey on purpose so the bear will smell it), dead beavers (because they really stink), and big barrels. All of which had to be carried first to Idaho in a trailer, at $4/gallon gasoline, and then carried on the backs of Chris and Robert into the wilderness. Here's some photos so that you get the whole picture...
That's Chris packing the trailer...yes, that's a deep freeze, painted bright red, to match the truck and trailer.

Here's Robert overseeing the packing of the deep freeze, that's the bread and beavers I mentioned.
This is Robert unpacking the truck in South Dakota so that they could raise the wheel wells. The trailer was packed too heavy to travel the entire way as is.
They arrived safely and set up camp and bait sites and began their hunting. Stay tuned for the rest of the story.
