Today I had another appointment with Dr. Wilshire - my last appointment with him as I switch to the OB Dr. Trammell at 12 Weeks. This appointment was fun to see the baby - Critter was wiggling all over, shaking it's hands and feet and even waving at us. The umbilical cord was visiable and the Dr. was slightly concerned with how close to my cervix the cord had attached. This could become a problem as my cervix and uterus grow. Please pray with us that the cord will move away from the cervix as I grow and that this will not be an issue at our next appointment on September 30th. Otherwise, the baby measured at exactly 9 wks and 4 days which is right on the money. It was about an inch long. For those of you who have been questioning...we did a full uterus scan to prove that there is only one baby. On the picture, Critter is upside down but you can definitely make out it's big head and belly and little legs - on my copy you can see the little arm better than on this scan.
