Where Have I Been?

You're probably wondering what happened to me since it's been several weeks since I posted...here's the scoop.

#1 Excuse: I went back to work. Man, that's tough! I'm still not getting a full nights sleep, Casper usually wakes me up at 2 or 3 for a feeding and then I'm up for work between 5:30 and 6:00. I guess it could be worse but this schedule is going to take some time. Not to mention that I am not used to making it a full day without at least one nap! I thought I might be able to take some time during breaks at work to update but all that time is spent with my pump...three times a day! It's also hard to adjust to coming straight home after work, I used to stop and get groceries or dinner or just go shopping, now I just want to hurry home. I miss my little guys so much that I usually call twice a day and talk to him. Sometimes he talks back, sometimes Mom says he just looks around trying to figure out where I am.

My mom has been doing a great job of watching the little guy and keeping me posted with what they did all day. She still seems excited to see him every morning so I guess it's going well for her to. If it's not to hot, they like to sit outside or go for walks. I think they also watch some Baby Einstein and play on one of Casper's numerous toys. He still naps for about 5 of the 9 hours that I am gone.

#2 Excuse: We have decided to finish the basement. Chris has been working on this for several weeks and I haven't gotten out of most of the work since I have to watch the baby. Last week though they started sheetrocking which meant we had to unplug the modem...a full week with no internet! Thankfully Chris plugged it in for the weekend so I could get caught up on all my stuff.

#3 Excuse: So, if I have had the internet all weekend, why am I just now posting? We spent five hours picking out fixtures for the basement yesterday. We hardly bought anything, just picked it out. Today we went to JCPenneys to get his 3 month pictures taken and that was quite the ordeal...the pictures are cute, the experience was bad...
