Today is the University of Missouri Homecoming and ESPN was in town for the big game. Here is the crowd at the College Game Day taping and some pictures from the parade. Casper is just like his daddy and didn’t like being in the big crowds one bit. By time the parade started he was ready to go home. I forced him to stay for about a half hour by walking up and down the route. He was okay with everything if he was inside a store but once the door opened, he started crying again. Eventually we gave up and tried to leave but the wouldn’t let us out of downtown. The road that was supposed to be open was blocked until the ESPN buses hit the road. We sat in the car downtown for over an hour. Casper didn’t seem to mind that, he had his own seat, could hear what was going on, and was watching people walking by. From a distance, he loved the parade, especially the drums, but not so much close up.
