8 Weeks....56 Days...1,344 Hours...

That's all the time I have to wait before I get to meet my little guy. I cannot wait!!! I am soooo anxious to meet him!!

Here is the picture from today's ultrasound, everything looked good. They didn't do measurements this week (only every 4 weeks) but he did have a good heartbeat and he was breathing like he was supposed to.

My portion of the appointment went well also. I gained 1 lb, but I am measuring 32 cm at 32 weeks (previously I was 33 cm at 28 weeks, a general guideline is to be the same number cm as you are in weeks). My fluid was still nice and low, around 14.7...all is well! Here's my 32 Week picture.

30 Weeks

Here's the 30 week photo...I like this one, it looks like my backside is finally catching up to my front :) You can also get another peek at the mural, the baby deer are my favorites...

I had a Dr. appt on friday and got glowing reviews for how well I am maintaining my sugar levels. It looks like the diet changes are doing the trick, and I have to admit it hasn't been that difficult to follow. The Dr. did tell me that I probably won't gain anymore weight, thanks to the diet, yeah!! He also said I will be coming in weekly for ultrasounds and visits starting next friday. It will be good to see the baby each week but the appts do take time and that's a bummer.

26 Weeks..

As usual, my post is late again. I have some really good excuses this time...major internet problems and a trip to Mexico! But I am back and have worked around my internet problems even though they are not completely fixed.

So here it is, the big reveal...

As you may notice from the photo, I have decided to add some murals to Casper's room. This is the first section that I completed...isn't it cute??? When it's all done, there will be two 6' tall pine trees, a wall have prairie grass, three black bears, three raccoons, one turtle, one bunny, one owl, two baby deer, a chipmunk, a squirrel, and some other grasses and flowers. I can't wait! I hope to have it done by time the baby arrives, this section took much longer than I anticipated but practice makes perfect, right!

24 Weeks...a week ago

Okay, so the holidays messed up my schedule...I didn't post my 24 week photo since I was out of town visiting family in Michigan but I had a great time! Here the picture now...only six days late. This is with my cousin Katie who is eight week further along then me.

22 Weeks...

and the baby is Kung Fu Fighting!! It's only been 1 1/2 weeks since the first time I felt the baby kick from the outside and now it seems like he's kicking all the time. Here's the 22 week photo...

20 Weeks and Thankful...

Happy Thanksgiving! Or at least that's when I meant to post. Thanks to severe internet connection issues, I am a couple of days late. But watchout, the satellite internet is installed on Wednesday...I may be posting every day after that!

I'm Thankful for...

• Well, obviously, a baby on the way!
• Dr. Wilshire and the staff at Mid Missouri Reproductive Center - how many people does it take to conceive a child...apparently seven not including mom and dad.
• A baby bump that, without question, shows everyone I encounter the miracle that God has done in my life.
• Little old ladies who tell me I am too big and I will never loose this baby weight. Whew, I was worried, now I don't even have to try!
• Elastic waistbands!! Who knew maternity clothes were sooo comfortable? No wonder I saw several obviously not pregnant women wearing maternity clothes while shopping on Friday morning.
• Apparently it's perfectly okay for a pregnant woman to have ice cream any time of the day without judgement.
• No stress to lose weight before my trip to Mexico in January.
• A belly massage anytime I want - go ahead, I don't mind.
• Friends who tell me the honest, and sometimes disgusting, truth about what's going to happen in the next four months.
• A husband that tries to understand hormones, body changes, and tiredness...but still pushes me to not be a wimp.
• A husband that no longer uses the word "Plump" to describe his pregnant wife. In fact, he has only said it in my presence twice but has endured the never ending punishment.
• Friends, family, and strangers who share my joy and excitement!

18 Weeks

Here it is...the biweekly picture of the over sized mama! Chris says it's cute, and I think it is too, until we start thinking about how I'm not even half way yet. I'm afraid what the next 22 weeks might bring. Just for scale, I measured and I have a 43.5 inch waistline today...no way am I telling you what I weigh!

10 Weeks...from Central Colorado

Here is my 10 week progress picture...definitely making progress! We started our vacation on Wednesday and this picture was taken on Thursday at a park right off of I-70 between Frisco and Vail. We're having a great time...more to come about vacation later!
