Monday - Zion National Park

I know, it's a week later...but do you know how hard it is to find internet access in the middle of nowhere!! We are home now, bummer!

Monday we were in Kanab Utah. After relaxing in a hotel and enjoying our showers...we headed to Coral Pink Sands State Park which would have been a lot more fun if we had four wheelers...
From there, we headed to Zion National Park which was very different than I expected. The canyon walls are soooo tall and steep. This park was interesting because you can't drive through the main portion of it, you have to park and ride a free shuttle which stops at about 10 different stops along the way. We didn't stop at all of them but did see some amazing scenery.

On the way to our evening stop, we drove through the northern part of Zion called Kolob Canyon. After sleeping in late and riding the shuttles in Zion, we had spent most of our day. We headed to Cedar City Utah to stop at Walgreens and get Chris some antibiotics so he would start feeling better. We stayed in a hotel again...in retrospect I am so thankful we did. On Tuesday we were headed for Bryce Canyon and for Chris to go hunting.
