Sunday - Glen Canyon to the Grand Canyon

Sunday - We woke up to the beautiful view of Glen Canyon and Powell Lake.
After getting packed up, we did some site seeing of the Lake and Dam then headed out of town towards the Grand Canyon.
Along the way, we stopped at the Navajo Bridge and enjoyed the view.

After all the canyons we saw, we wondered if we would even be interested in the Grand Canyon. We decided to try the North Rim since it was more on our way - we were amazed. It is a huge canyon and something amazing to see. From our location, you couldn't even see the bottom most of the time. The lighting was a little bad for our pictures and it was very windy, almost scary out on the peaks...here are a few highlights...

To try to help Chris's cold, we stayed in a hotel in Kanab Utah on Sunday night and are being a little lazy this morning...then we'll be off to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park.

I'm enjoying your trip...through your pictures. This reminds me of the trips that I have taken with my parents...they are really "outdoorsy" and we drive around to all of the National Parks and Forests. I must say you are extremely brave to camp in your first trimester...well actually any trimester. Kudos to you...enjoy it now cuz once your kiddo gets here you will not want to take the little one camping...for a long while...too much work! Enjoy the rest of your trip!
