Apparently, I have a big baby. Today he weighs 2lbs 15ozs (a website says most 28 weeks babies are around 2lbs 6ozs). He is in the 74th percentile which is big but nothing to be concerned about. You'll see by the pics below that he has big feet and his legs measured quite long. He is no longer breech - which I noticed last week. His head is down, his belly is on my left side, and his bottom and legs stretch over the top of my belly and down the other side. He still wasn't very cooperative in the ultrasound, he likes to move around...Chris thinks he's ADD already but I think he's just 'active'.
I do have excess amniotic fluid which is rarely a serious problem. It could indicate gestational diabetes (I find out those results on Monday) in which case I would be on a fairly restrictive diet (particularly low carbs). We will do another U/S next Thursday to see if the amniotic fluid levels are increasing or relatively stable. High levels of amniotic fluid are really just monitored, nothing is done to "fix" it. It could mean a slightly early labor because the uterus gets as big as it's supposed to and decides its time. It also means that when my water breaks, you better watch out...it could be a tsunami! :)
Here's a profile - you can see his heart and umbilical cord

In this one, he has his mouth open and is getting ready to put his hand in his mouth.
