Christmas Gift Preview – My Craft Table

For Christmas, Chris’s parents gave me some money which I put towards a craft table in the craft/workout/play room.  I love my table.  I came up with the idea but needed Chris to pull it off.  I will be added pieces to my craft room ensemble as money allows and I hope they all turn out as great as this!

The table is made from two sets of nine cube storage units with a laminate platform on top.  The top is 48” x 36” and it stands about 38” tall…the perfect height for standing work.  Look how nicely my cutting mat fits!  I am also getting more organizer bins for Christmas and may buy additional ones in the future.

I loved that I could use my Cricut to create tags to label each of the bins.  Aren’t they lovely??  The walls in the room are a dark brown (officially known as Corkboard) so I have chosen to decorate the craft portion with orange and green.  The two storage units do not back up to each other, there is some space between where I will later add more shelves, but for now, Casper loves that he can walk back there and peek through the cubbies to say HI!
